Taking the southern route from Dambulla, comes to the sacred city of Kandy paving home to Buddha’s sacred tooth relic in the Temple of the Tooth Relic; the highlight of the city. Moving further up the hill country, takes you to Nuwara Eliya which is also known as the Little England where the weather is drastically changing as you move into this city. This scenic part of the country covers a wide area with far stretching beautiful tea plantations, and the city differentiates itself with beaut colonial architecture, exotic wildlife and much more.
In between the upcountry and the coastal area is Ella; the newest sensation of the tourists to go to. The journey itself from the upcountry to this scenic city is iconic whether you take the famous odyssey train ride or the motor route. The city’s home to some magnificent sites like Ella rock and the little Adam's peak.
Traveling further down South, is the Yala National Park; home to a number of Leopards in the country, Mirissa beach, Galle Dutch Fort and many more scenic places.
