Why Sri Lanka works for a honeymoon
A honeymoon in Sri Lanka combines adventure and rest in a way few destinations can. You can climb the Lion Rock at sunrise, ride the train through the tea hills and end with a week in a beach villa – all within two weeks, without long flights in between. Hotels are small and personal, and staff love to spoil newly-weds.

When to plan
For a honeymoon between December and April, book six to nine months ahead to secure the best rooms. For summer honeymoons, the east coast is at its best – and the hotels are often less busy. Let us know your wedding date and we will plan backwards from there.
